Mrs. Ann Leichleiter
Mrs. Ann Leichleiter is one of five children, all who attended their local Catholic school, St. Mathews. They would walk to and from school every day. She graduated from 8th grade from St. Matthews and followed her brothers and sisters footsteps and attended Blanchet High School. She then went on to graduate from W.S.U. with her teaching certificate with an Endorsement in Reading. She has taught at St. Francis of Assisi, St. Pius, St. Vincent de Paul, and St. Mary Magdalen. She continued her educational career at Seattle University with a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and City University with a Principal Certificate. She has been in the Seattle Archdiocese for 24 years as a teacher and principal. She lives with her husband , Jeff, in Mill Creek. She also spends time on their ten acres in Ellensburg. Her nephew, Tyler, is in Mrs. Moon’s preschool class.
Mrs. Jane Alpers
Jane Alpers has worked for St. Thomas More School since Spring 2006 in the Development Coordinator position. She is now the Preschool Aide and helps with Milk & Recess at lunchtime 2 days per week. Jane has a BA in Education from Iowa State University. Since getting married, she and her husband Steve have lived in Connecticut, Indiana and now Seattle since 1996. Prior to working at STM, Jane stayed at home with her daughters Abi and Rielly who are STM alum. Jane worked in Sales and Marketing for the Federal Reserve Bank prior to that in Seattle and before moving to Washington was an Assistant Vice President at MetroBank, a Community Bank in Indianapolis. She also is works for the City of Lynnwood at the Lynnwood Recreation Center. She is part of the Group Fitness Team.
