The beginning band program invites any students between 5th through 8th grade to attend after school rehearsals where they will learn how to play wind/traditional band instruments. This curriculum will coincide with the OSPI Washington Music Standards, and will help develop musical ideas, musical literacy, and musical techniques. The students will work on these skills through rehearsing basic techniques and music that is associated with the current season/religious holidays at the time.
Rehearsal Time: Monday, 3:10-3:55
Fee: $25/ per student (plus the cost of renting instrument)
