 A Student at St. Thomas More School is:

An Active Christian Who:

  • Grows in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through participation in the spiritual and liturgical life of a faith community
  • Expresses and applies faith with conviction
  • Understands Catholic teachings and applies them in daily life
  • Shares God’s unconditional love in service to others

A Community Participant Who:

  • Recognizes s/he is an active member of communities
  • Respects and values each unique member of the community
  • Appreciates the importance of service to/from the community

A Self-confident and Loving Individual Who:

  • Values self and others
  • Knows and understands how to express gifts and strengths
  • Has courage to pursue dreams
  • Is healthy spiritually, socially, and physically

An Independent Thinker Who:

  • Questions the changing world around them
  • Thinks critically and creatively in order to make wise decisions
  • Uses knowledge and skills to solve problems and set goals
  • Demonstrates efficient study skills
  • Manages time and sets priorities

A Life-long Learner Who:

  • Works toward his/her full academic potential
  • Demonstrates a strong foundation in the basic skills of all core-curricular subjects
