The Arts

At St. Thomas More School, students have many opportunities for artistic enrichment, fostering creativity and helping them become well-rounded individuals.

  • Music: Music classes are integrated into the curriculum for students from preschool through 8th grade, where they build a strong foundation in musical expression. Students showcase their talents during the highly anticipated annual Christmas and Spring Concerts.
  • Choir: Students in grades 3-5 can join the Voice of the Phoenix Choir, while those in grades 6-8 participate in the Bella Voce Choir, further honing their vocal skills and performing in school and community events.
  • Drama: Every other year, students have the opportunity to participate in drama, developing confidence, teamwork, and self-expression through stage performances.
  • Visual Arts: The visual arts program encourages students to explore various media, including drawing, painting, and sketching. With instruction once per trimester, students learn essential art concepts and create original pieces. Their work is proudly displayed in local showcases, such as the Edmonds Art Festival and at Archbishop Murphy High School.

These programs inspire students to embrace the arts as a vital part of their education, nurturing both their creativity and personal growth.
